About 10 years ago, Meg realized that the perfect recipe for her artwork was to combine beads and fabric. Since then Meg has beaded on quilts, scarves, ribbon, hats, shoes, clothes, dolls, dog collars, and lampshades. The design possibilities are endless! Meg teaches Basic Beading and Bead Embroidery Classes. When she isn't teaching high school, she can be found in her attic studio beading or in her backyard watching her koi and gardening. Look for Meg as she embellishes a quilted wall hanging on the HGTV’s That’s Clever in the spring of 2008.

Anne came to jewelry design via pottery. “Clay has been a part of my life for nearly as long as I can remember. After 10 years as a full time studio potter I started making beads in 2005 and was, more or less, forced into jewelry design to provide examples of my beads in use. It was a natural fit to start working with fiber and mizuhiki (Japanese paper cords). My beads have big holes, necessary to accommodate the firing rods, and the bulk provided by fiber as a stringing material works really well. I hope you'll join me for a class or two. We'll tie some knots, twist some textiles, and have an overall good time.”

Candy and Jewelry have always been very special in my world! Then I realized I'm allergic to candy (I break out in fat) so it's now about Jewelry.
Have you ever received a gift that was hand-made? Or have you ever made something for someone special? These are gifts from the heart! I have been working with beads for many years. Five years ago, with my husband & grandson we opened our bead store, SewBeadazzed, in San Jose, CA where My God given talent for mixing colors & designing help me teach my students how to make those special gifts from their hearts! This is my passion.

About ten years ago my daughter Meg told me, “Beads are hot, Mom!” And aren’t they just getting hotter? With a degree in Textiles and Clothing and a lifetime of artistic pursuits, beads provide another outlet for my creative voice. Life is just better with beads in it! I love that the sky’s the limit for design possibilities, and that there’s something for everyone. Won’t you join me for my “Make It Memorable” class? It’s going to be fun as well as memorable!
