After
trying all means
of creative expression,
in the year 2000
Karen chose beads
as her primary
medium. After
beading every
surface in site
she decided to
go out into the
world to spread
the word and has
been teaching
steadily at a
number of studios
and stores in
the Pennsylvania
and New Jersey
area. In addition
she taught at
Bead Fest 2003
and the Berks
Bead Bazaar in
Reading, PA. Karen
enjoys both loom
work and off loom
weaving and brought
a mixture of bead
weaving stitches
to The Innovative
Beads Expo in
August, to the
Bead Fest 2004
in October and
again at the second
IBE in November,
hoping to share
the pure joy to
be found in weaving
wonderful jewelry.
