Wireworking 101
In Wireworking 101 you will learn how to make simple loops, wrapped loops,
4 styles of headpins, earwires, an "S" clasp, jump rings, and how to wrap a large bead. You will also learn what to look for when buying tools and metals. These techniques will start you on your way to making earrings, bracelets and necklaces with your favorite beads. The teacher brings tools to work with, but if you have your own favorites you can bring them.
Class Fee: $60.00. Pre-register and save $10.00 per class.
Kit Fee: $30.00
Kit includes: 1 spool 20 gauge, 1 spool 18 gauge copper wire, 12” 20 gauge sterling silver, 12” 18 gauge sterling silver, package of bead soup, 1 large bead.
Students can bring their favorite tools to class if they have them. Otherwise tools will be available for their use. Bring a task light for increased visibility.
